Inmates Break Out Of Prison, Break In To House, Break Back In To Prision

It must be the air, or the Canadian bacon.
Two inmates from Westmoreland Institution broke out of prison, broke in to a house and broke back in to prison with $5,000 worth of stolen goods. Among the goods stolen were jewelry, money, alcohol and other household items.
When the prison was alerted, they did a head count but all 214 inmates were accounted for. RCMP then called in a sniffer dog to solve the mystery.
“The RCMP brought in the guard dog — police dog that they have — as part of their investigation, and they traced it back to Westmorland Institution. The dog picked up a scent and led the RCMP back to Westmorland.” said assistant warden Maurice LeBlanc.
The men were transferred to the higher security Dorchester Penitentiary. No charges were filed (what for, they’re already in jail).
