Road Rage Nut Unloads On Freeway

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

Two women driving along Interstate 4 in Orange County, Fla, found themselves attacked by a gun wielding driver.

“He was following me very close behind the car,” the woman said. “And after two minutes I just heard the shot.”

A bullet shattered a right passenger-side window.

“We could’ve been dead because if the gun shot didn’t stop it was going to (hit) my friend,” the woman said.

They stopped on the Maitland exit when the man began waving his firearm at them. They were fearful he would open fire again. Fortunately, the man then drove away.

Local 6 aired a 911 call from the women:

“We’re almost at exit 90-B,” the victim said.

“That’s where the shooting took place?” the dispatcher said.

“Yes,” the victim said.

“Did they shoot at your vehicle?” the dispatcher said.

“Yes,” the victim said.

“Are they gone?” the dispatcher said.

The man was said to be driving a black Chrysler 300.
