Mutant Spider Bites Woman In Half With A Shark

Sunday, December 10th, 2006

Confused by the headline? You should be, because that’s what Cindy Pettey’s abdomen looked like after she was bit by what appears to be a member of the very dangerous “Hobo spider Incursion Team” or HIT. The small bite to her stomach a few days ago left doctors no choice but to remove 10 pounds of skin and flesh. A hobo spider’s venom may cause necrosis (death) of the skin, and when injected below the skin causes reddening, swelling and then blackness.

“It looks like I was bit in half by a shark,”

Horrifyingly, Pettey has found about six other spiders that look like hobo’s and two funnel webs. Camouflage gear, silencers and flash bang grenades were also found along with an assortments of biscuits and fruit juices - suggesting HIT had been staking out Pettey for some time.

“I put hobo spider traps all over my house,” said Pettey in an attempt avert the incursion.
