Mexican Police Offer “Assisted Suicide” Service
Monday, January 22nd, 2007Truck driver Albano Ramirez Santos tried to kill himself by jumping onto railway tracks over the theft of his truck (don’t ask). Unfortunately for him, trains were halted and station staff moved him out of harms way. The authorities were called and he was taken to a local police station. But this is where the story gets interesting - Ramirez Santos was DOA (dead on arrival).
Forensics suggest that Ramirez Santos died of blows to the chest and head which were unrelated to his suicide attempt. Obviously something sinister was afoot during his journey with the police.
Jose de Jesus “El Saviour” Sanchez Lemus and Carmelo Campechano “I didn’t make this name up-o” Granados were both charged with his murder.
