Cheryl Cole copied Kelis track for her new single?

U.-Cheryl Cole appears to be on her way to a her first number one solo single but music fans are listening with raised eye brows about the originality of the track.

The melody of the song’s verse and the beat underneath are almost identical to that of Kelis’s Lil Star, which reached number 3 in 2007.

Cheryl Cole has denied the claims but here at Neebone we must say that the verses and underlying melodies of both songs sound very similar.
