Anyone watching UK television (or any worldwide news channel) will be aware of the racism row following an appearance by Jade Goody on the Channel 4 reality TV show Big Brother.

Her ignorant and racist comments towards Indian born fellow housemate Shilpa Shetty has meant no one in media (or anywhere else) wants to touch her with a 10-foot cattle prod. Follow any number of a million and one stories about her here.

Hotass of the week goes to:
Serena Williams

Serena Williams is back on form and has won the Australian Open by beating top seed Maria Sharapova, 6-1 6-2 in one hour two minutes. This means Williams has now won eight Grand Slam singles titles in her career.

Looks like the 25-year-old hasn’t lost any of her talent - or assets. You gotta love a person with those kinds of assperations (ok we’ll stop now).
